invigorating trip is devoted to the islands of the Vendée : the
discovery of the islands of Yeu and
Noirmoutier. Two elements bring them together: the ocean that surrounds
them and the outstanding light!
The picturesque oyster beds where a very special atmosphere prevails will
be a delight to you.
Your Program
Day
1 :
Welcome at the hotel in Beauvoir sur Mer in the afternoon.
Day
2 : “Ile de Noirmoutier – 65 km”
Bike ride on the small marsh roads bordered with canals. A network of
cycle tracks and paths developed to explore the island (Passage du Gois,
old harbour, Bois de la Chaize, beaches, the harbour of Herbaudière,
salt marshes…). Dinner and night at the hotel.
Day
3 : “Ile d’Yeu – 20-35 km”
Departure from Fromentine for a boat crossing. Explore the most Mediterranean
island of Vendée. Numerous caves, rocky headlands, tumbling rocks,
golden beaches, white houses with blue shutters, …with a stop not
to miss : the small natural harbour of La Meule. Dinner and night at the
hotel.
Day
4 : “Tour of the oyster-beds in the
Baie de Bourgneuf – 40km”
Discover the small picturesque harbours livened up by the activity of
the oyster-farmers. Cross a marsh area reclaimed from the ocean and devoted
to cereal production. Dinner and night at the hotel.

5 :
Departure after breakfast.
