Arrival at Nantes Atlantique airport or at the train station. You are welcomed by your coach driver and guide (transport from Paris is optional).

Day 1 : Nantes
Transfer to the hotel. Guided tour of NANTES including the Castle of the Dukes of Brittany, the cathedral, the Square St Pierre, the banks of the river Loire... Free time at the end of the afternoon in “Quartier Bouffay”, Place du Commerce and Passage Pommeraye. Dinner cruise on the river Erdre and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2 : St Nazaire / la Brière
We offer a choice of 2 excursions in ST NAZAIRE : the shipyards or the Aérospatiale-EADS Airbus factory.
Afternoon: guided boat-trip of the Brière marshes then free time in the village of Kerhinet and brief stop in La Baule before returning to Nantes. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3 : Muscadet vineyard / Angers
Departure to the region of Anjou along the river Loire. Visit a vineyard, sample some wine, eat the "casse-croûte du vendangeur" (snack of the grap picker) and enjoy a train ride in the vineyard. Lunch in Angers. Guided visit of the town and of the castle that houses the sumptuous Tapestry of the Apocalyps. Dinner and overnight in Angers.

Day 4 : Northern Vendee
Guided visit of the “Cointreau Museum and Visitor Centre” which include a tasting. Transfer to the North of the Vendee. Arrival in Tiffauges ; visit Bluebeard Castle, the most important medieval site of the region where you attend a demonstration of war machines. Arrival in La Roche sur Yon. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5 : Le Puy du Fou
Entire day at the Grand Parc of the Puy du Fou, one of the main attraction of the region. Lunch at own charge. Get ready for a journey through time : gladiators, drakkars, phantom birds dance, the medieval city, the battle of the keep, the 18th century village… Dinner and overnight in Nantes.

Day 5 : Southern Vendee
Departure to Faymoreau, small town famous for its mining past. Visit the Mining Centre (virtual descent down the mine…). Lunch at own charge. Afternoon : visit St Vincent Abbey in Nieul sur L'Autize (magnificient monastic buildings dating back to the 11th Century). Visit Vouvant, labellised “one of the most beautiful village of France”. Dinner and overnight in Nantes.

Day 6 :
Transfer to Nantes airport or station (transport to Paris optional). End of our services.
